We’re visiting some friends who have a hamster. Brin and I peer into the cage, but it appears empty. Brin says, “The Brinley Pig is gone!”
Brin is hiding some plastic eggs all over the living room. When she finishes, she says, “Let’s find some Easters, dad!”
Brinkley woke up with a cold this morning. After some coughing she said,”I have some hurt.”
We’re playing with Brin’s play food tonight. Brin hands me a hotdog and says, “Here’s your Hidalgo.”
We’re playing songs on the Echo outside, and Brin requested “Lub is Indoor” from Frozen (Love is an Open Door).
Today as Brin and I were leaving the Museum of Nature and Science, I asked her, “Hey Brin, do you see our car?” She looked around for a bit, recognized our car, ran to it, gave it a great big hug on the headlight, and said, “I love you, car.”
This morning we were talking about how Mommy and Daddy have to go to work, to which Brin added, “And I go to work.” When asked about what she will do at work, she thought for a moment, then happily said, “Paper!”
Brin woke up today having wet herself and her bed. She came into our room and despairingly said, “My tummy broke!”
I come up from work, and the first thing Brinley says to me is “I don’t wanna listen to Mommy.”
Yesterday I shaved a few weeks of beard off my face. Brin immediately noticed. Then today as we were wrestling, she suddenly stopped, and, with a surprised look on her face, said, “Your beard is back!”
