Another day, another long round of Micah sitting on the toilet.
“My soul doesn’t want me to poop.”
Micah after sitting on the toilet for 20 minutes: “I wanna have poops, but my butt doesn’t.”
“Oh no!” says Micah, aghast that there’s a gaping hole in a neighborhood house’s fence that’s being worked on. “Now we can see their naked house!”
“Daddy, I want to eat gumdrops someday,” says Micah. “They look like gum, and you can drop ‘em in your mouth.”
Micah wants to lead us on our hiking path. “Everybody! … fowwow.”
Micah picks up a toy at Target. “How many old years old is for that?”
We walk past a park where there are a bunch of rocket launches. The kids are entranced. As we leave, Micah tells Brin, “I’m going to make a rocket of you and me hugging each other and launch it.”
“Dad!” says Micah, standing wildly on one leg. “Watch me do something strange-erous.”
