Micah wants to lead us on our hiking path. “Everybody! … fowwow.”
Micah picks up a toy at Target. “How many old years old is for that?”
Brin after eating a thing-ful of PEZ: “I think if there were PEZ trees that would be more pleasant.”
Brin sees a bunny in our yard as we pull into the driveway.
“Pause the car!” she yells.
We walk past a park where there are a bunch of rocket launches. The kids are entranced. As we leave, Micah tells Brin, “I’m going to make a rocket of you and me hugging each other and launch it.”
“Dad!” says Micah, standing wildly on one leg. “Watch me do something strange-erous.”
Micah’s joke for the day:
“What did the clock say to the stone?”
“I don’t know. What?”
“Stone, it’s time to take you to get some ice cream!”
Micah runs up and excitedly tells me that he’s been bowling on the Nintendo Wii. “Daddy, I got a spare!”
“Good job, buddy!” I tell him.
“I’m a real rock ‘n roll dude.”
Brin gazes out her car window and says in a wistful voice, “Air is the most thing.”
Micah is drawing with chalk on the sidewalk. He looks up and asks, “Does this look mighty fun?”
